SOS 'The stress is overwhelming me and I feel so irritated.'
When stressors get overwhelming we naturally suppress, avoid, distract or numb which builds emotion as general irritation that can erupt at any moment. This meditation offers an alternative and helps move the emotions being felt, and prevents you from adding additional unhelpful emotions to the mix. It also helps to identify other more positive emotions that are present and can be felt now. This practice also helps build resilience to future stress and the emotion it brings without it impacting on your health or wellbeing. Knowing you have the tools to deal with stress increases your resilience even more!
