Learning to Focus Away from Negative Thoughts
Our mind finds it difficult to focus on more than one thing at a time. Often the focus for our attention is on the loudest and most negative thought and it can be hard to see anything else. This meditation helps you to learn how to disengage from troublesome thoughts and instead focus your attention where you choose. This stops us getting caught in a spiral of negativity where the thought gets progressively more negative and challenging for us to deal with.
