đź’ˇ When were you happiest?
Oct 02, 2024It's tempting to think that our best moments come when life is perfectly smooth—no problems, no stress, when we have time to focus on what we want in our life without the stress of work and life challenges. But if you look back, you’ll probably notice that your happiest times weren’t when everything was perfect, but when you were laughing, having fun, feeling at ease and creating joyful memories despite the challenges.
Research shows that fun and laughter boost our wellbeing, helping us manage stress, improve relationships, and even strengthen our immune system. Fun acts like a reset button—it doesn’t solve our problems, but it gives us the mental space to handle them better.
So, don’t wait for the "right time" to enjoy yourself. Make fun a priority now. Happiness isn’t the absence of problems, it’s the presence of joy in the midst of them.
Life happens in the present moment, it’s the only moment we can be sure we have, so stop waiting for the future to start living. This is mindfulness.
